23.07.2008 Banorët e fshatit Shupkovc të Mitrovicës kanë vazhduar ditën e tretë të protestës, duke kërkuar largimin e maunave me materie të rrezikshme. Gjatë tentimit të protestuesve për bllokim të magjistrales Mitrovicë-Prishtinë, policia ka arrestuar dhjetëra protestues.

Experts estimate that there is little chance for explosion that could sink the ship. No pollution was released into the sea, so far.

Stručnjaci su procijenili kako je vrlo mala mogućnost da dođe do eksplozije i potonuća broda. More zasad nije onečišćeno.
